Exclusively used with the Verniflam® AITHON F3 or Verniflam® AITHON F3A topcoat, Verniflam® AITHON PV33 intumescent is an aqueous fireproof protective coating for the fire classification of wood and wood-derived materials, inside public buildings, on areas such as walls or ceilings, not subject to mechanical stress. Verniflam® AITHON PV33 is not suitable for floors or stairs, for example.

Translucent, colourless (non-yellowing). It is also suitable for improving the fire resistance of wooden elements.

Any application of a varnish must be subject to a preliminary test in order to verify compatibility with the substrate.

To date, the Verniflam® AITHON PV33 reaction to fire documents only concern use with Verniflam® AITHON F3, Verniflam® AITHON F3A or a non-declassifying top coat as a finishing coat as described in the Classification Reports.

Verniflam® Aithon PV33 is only used in combination with Top-Coat Verniflam® Aithon F3 or Verniflam® Aithon F3A.

Verniflam® Aithon PV33 intumescent is a transparent, water-based, fire-retardant protective coating that forms an intumescent thermal insulation layer when heated. It delays the spread of fire and reduces the flammability of wood and wood derivatives. It is also a non-declassifying solution.

With a certain weight, the fire resistance of the elements is also improved.

Verniflam® Aithon PV33 intumescent highlights the aesthetics and interior architecture of wooden constructions and thus offers architects and project managers an attractive solution.
