HydroFlam® AP15 IBC

Hydroflam® AP15 is a flame retardant product that delays ignition and limits the spread of flames on supports based on synthetic fibers such as acrylic, polyester, viscose, acetate, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.

M1 according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-053 (viscose support)

M1 according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-054 (polyester support)

M1 according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-059 (polypropylene support)

M1 according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-060 (polyamide support)

Wholesale and semi-wholesale packaging.

We also offer to fireproof your supports in our workshops, do not hesitate to contact us for any request or quote.

Hydroflam® AP15 comes in liquid form (VOC and formaldehyde free), odorless and colorless. It is ready to use. It can be colored (powder dye or liquid acrylic) to obtain an aesthetic effect or traceability. It is slightly foaming. The fireproof material, once dry, can be tinted but only with non-declassifying products.

Prevents the spread of flames and fire and reduces the development of smoke.

Must be used in dry and closed indoor areas.

Implementation and preparation of the support

The support must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.

Hydroflam® AP15 can be applied in 2 ways on dry, porous, double-sided support:

  • By spraying "to refusal" with a flat jet nozzle (recommended for fragile papers, such as crepe paper)
  • By dipping (total immersion in the fireproof product).

It is recommended to let dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, naturally or accelerated. A slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.

Indicative yields

The consumption of Hydroflam® AP15 varies according to the nature, composition, mass of the support and the fire classification targeted. Generally speaking, the Hydroflam® AP15 take-up rate must be at least 40% of the mass of the support to be treated.

Ex.: to fireproof a 200 g polyester fabric, 80 g of Hydroflam® BC11 will be required. The mass of the wet fabric before drying must be 280 g.
