HydroFlam® TN12 IBC

Hydroflam® TN12 is a flame retardant product that delays ignition and limits the spread of flames in fabrics of natural origin such as cotton, burlap, velvet, damask, muslin, etc.

M1 classification according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-064 (cotton support)

M1 classification according to standard NF P92-512. FCBA report no. CM-17-P-065 (linen support)

Bulk and semi-bulk packaging.

We also offer to fireproof your supports in our workshops, do not hesitate to contact us for any request or quote.

Hydroflam® TN12 comes in liquid form (VOC and formaldehyde free), odorless and colorless. It is ready to use. It can be colored (powder dye or liquid acrylic) to obtain an aesthetic effect or traceability. The fireproof material, once dry, can be tinted but only with non-declassifying products.

Prevents the spread of flames and fire and reduces the development of smoke.

Must be used in dry and closed indoor areas.

Implementation and preparation of the substrate

The substrate must be dry, free of dust, oil, wax, grease, dirt, resin, etc.

Hydroflam® TN12 can be applied in 3 ways on dry, porous substrates, recto/verso:

  • By spraying "to refusal" with a flat jet nozzle.
  • By dipping (total immersion in the fireproof product).
  • By padding (take-up rate according to other treatments and desired results).

It is recommended to let dry between 12 and 72 hours depending on the temperature and humidity, naturally or accelerated. A slight shrinkage of the fiber may occur.

Indicative yields

The consumption of Hydroflam® TN12 varies according to the nature, composition, mass of the support and the fire classification targeted. Generally speaking, the Hydroflam® TN12 take-up rate must be at least 30% of the mass of the support to be treated.

Ex.: to fireproof a 200 g cotton fabric, 60 g of Hydroflam® TN12 will be required. The mass of the wet fabric before drying must be 260 g.
